Robert Franco

Robert Franco serves as the Chief Financial Officer of SteeleHarbour. As CFO he is responsible for the oversight of company financial reporting (tax and audit), accounting policies, procedures and compliance. He also serves as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and is involved in the underwriting, due diligence and financing of prospective investments.

Prior to joining SteeleHarbour, Mr. Franco spent 15 years as a senior acquisitions executive at four leading New York City-based real estate development firms overseeing acquisitions, dispositions and capital markets.

A 29-year real estate investment/accounting veteran, Mr. Franco has overseen the acquisition, management and disposition of more than $1.5 billion of real estate assets in the New York, Washington DC and Florida markets. Additionally, during his tenure working with Christopher McGrew at Rockrose Development, he was involved in over $800 million of transactions.

Mr. Franco previously served as a Controller at Rockrose Development in New York City as well as a Senior Accountant at a New York City-based accounting firm where he started his career as a CPA.

Mr. Franco received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York, College at New Paltz, as well as a Masters in Business Administration degree (Finance, Real Estate Specialization) from the City University of New York, Baruch College.
