SteeleHarbour was founded in 2018 by Chris McGrew and Deepak Hathiramani with a shared vision of creating a differentiated real estate investment platform with a balanced approach to capital appreciation and current income.
SteeleHarbour targets middle-market investment opportunities with total deal size of $25 million to $200+ million. We make primarily GP equity investments, either as a Sole GP or as a Co-GP in partnership with leading operators and developers to whom we provide relationship-driven, flexible capital solutions to help drive growth and liquidity in their businesses.
We work closely with our partners to create strategic alignment in helping them scale their businesses and meet their strategic objectives near and long-term.
SteeleHarbour has created a highly tailored team of real estate professionals that bring breadth and depth of experience to our middle-market investment strategy. Our team brings extensive investment, operating, management, capital markets and advisory experience across real estate asset classes and transaction structures, having collectively completed over $9 billion of real estate investment, financing and capital markets transactions over the last 25+ years. Since the firm’s founding in late 2018, SteeleHarbour has invested in approximately $1Bn of real estate as a team. The members of our team have extensive project management and operational experience across ownership strategies, including ground-up development, renovation, repositioning, lease-up and stabilization, and fully-stabilized ownership.
